Rev. Mike Gerdes' Bio

Rev. Mike Gerdes has been a Religious Science minister for over 18 years, was ordained in 1995, and has served on the Board of Directors of Religious Science International in several capacities. He currently serves as Chair of the Peace Committee, which organizes peace education programs in faith-based organizations all over the world. He brings strong leadership, and a clear vision of the future of New Thought to the Chicago scene and a Spirit-filled understanding of the Principles of Religious Science to his speaking and teaching. His objectives for the Center include a multicultural ministry with an expansive music ministry, a flourishing youth program, and a frequent hosting of nationally known speakers. More than his many accomplishments, his own journey of spiritual transformation is what makes Rev. Mike Gerdes a powerful influence for growing the New Thought community in Chicagoland.
